InvestmentNews 40 Under 40 Class of 2019
Silver Penny Financial is proud to announce that its Managing Partner, Charlotte Geletka, was named to this year’s InvestmentNews 40 Under 40*. Each year InvestmentNews receives over 1,000 entries. Charlotte was selected based on her accomplishments to date, contributions to the financial industry, leadership and promise.
Geletka took the helm at the Atlanta-based firm as managing partner in 2017 and since then the firm has grown 20% managing $225 million in assets (AUM). Under Geletka’s leadership, Silver Penny has become a leader in retirement services. The firm emphasizes goals-based planning and behavioral finance. Silver Penny advisors take the time to find out what goals matter most to their clients, whether that means taking a trip they never thought they could or celebrating a milestone birthday in style. Working together, Silver Penny helps clients receive a ‘Return on Life.’
“To be nominated by my peers and recognized by my industry alongside other innovative young financial leaders is an incredible honor,” said Charlotte Geletka, managing partner at Silver Penny. “Something I care deeply about is raising the financial confidence in women of all ages. Women still have the mindset that they are not good investors when in fact research proves the contrary. Receiving this honor from InvestmentNews as one of only 16 women listed proves we are on our way but there’s still work to do.”
She has a passion for helping clients reach their life goals and to retire with confidence. Dedicating much of her time to spreading financial literacy to school children and empowering women to become leaders in whichever field they choose, Geletka is a pioneer and inspiration in the traditionally male-dominated financial services industry.
“The men and women chosen as this year’s 40 Under 40 honorees were selected based on their level of accomplishment, contribution to the financial advice industry and leadership,” said Frederick P. Gabriel Jr., editorial director of InvestmentNews. “They serve as role models for other young professionals and suggest the financial advice industry has a bright future.”
Geletka, along with the others making the 6th annual 40 under 40 list, is highlighted in the June 17th issue of InvestmentNews and online at investmentnews.com. For more information about the awards please visit: https://www.investmentnews.com/awards-and-recognition/40-under-40-2
